In February 2025, Heather Nova will release her 13th album, "Breath and Air" on V2 Records. It is a collection of evocative songs rich in melodies, lyrics, and arrangements, with Heather's signature vocals stronger and more ethereal than ever. The album envelops you in a timeless atmosphere; inviting you to forget everything for a moment while returning to yourself. Heather wrote the songs for "Breath and Air" over the past two years and spent four weeks in the Devon countryside (UK) holed up in an enchanting studio with Chris Bond (Ben Howard) to record the tracks. Many of the songs speak of love, loss, and nostalgia. Recurring themes throughout my life - the search for wholeness, healing, and meaning. I keep coming back to it and looking at it from different angles, through time and music. It is an ongoing journey that shows no signs of reaching a destination. My songs are documents of this journey.
