Black Diamond Snake

Description

At full throttle! The new album by the Caen-based HEADCHARGER roars like the engine of a 1932 Ford running on nitroglycerin. The tracks on Black Diamond Snake follow one another without a break, foot pinned to the accelerator. With Black Diamond Snake in the car stereo, it’s the guarantee of a hot ride, punctuated by unusual encounters, mishaps, punches and blues. In 10 tracks, Black Diamond Snake tells the slow transformation of a guy haunted by a black speedster on his tail until he becomes one with it... against his will. The transformation complete, HEADCHARGER shifts into first, then second, then third with a screech of tires and the smell of burnt rubber. With their 5th album, the five members of HEADCHARGER take back the wheel, free of any constraints. For 10 years, those who have crossed their path in France and across Europe (Sonisphere, Hellfest, Bloodstock, tours with Nashville Pussy or Crucified Barbara...) remember a music with a diesel tang that sounds like Led Zeppelin making love with Mötley Crüe while Metallica filmed the scene. The bodywork of the Black Diamond Snake is a solid alloy combining stoner, metal and rock n' roll (Metallica, Clutch, Foo Fighters...). In the dusty glove compartment, HEADCHARGER records are thrown in alongside those of the founding bands (AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple...). Today, the Black Diamond Snake speeds along with this synthetic fuel on the roads of France and Europe in search of new horizons, new fans. The Black Diamond Snake was prepared by Guyom Pavesi, bodied by Guillaume Doussaud and customized by Alan Douches (Dillinger Escape Plan, Mastodon, Sepultura) at West West Side Music Studios. For this full-throttle race, HEADCHARGER wears the colors of the Verycords stable.
