The co-founder of Midlake presents a first solo folk and hypnotic album. Harp is the new musical project composed of Tim Smith, formerly the singer and main songwriter of the American band Midlake, and his wife Kathi Zung. They unveil their first album titled Albion. The road to this first solo endeavor may have been long and winding, but the music created by Harp is imbued with melodies, atmospheres, drama, and sublime details. The ten songs and two instrumentals are framed by a weave of acoustic/electric guitars, gentle keyboard nuances, and Smith's beautiful voice. In other words, the essence of what initially drew people to his work with Midlake.
