Following their nomadic life, this record marks an intimate turning point for Alexander Hacke (former member of Einstürzende Neubauten) and Danielle de Picciotto, now settled on the outskirts of Berlin. Inspired by this new living space — a clearing in the heart of a wooded environment — LICHTUNG explores more open territories, moving away from repetitive drones towards freer electronic architectures.
