For Storyboard, marked by the language and cinematic imagination, the two partners propose a series of scenes that could be those of a film. The repertoire, the result of close collaboration between the two musicians (whether for writing or arrangement), brings together their different influences: jazz, of course, for both, but also world music (Spanish music, Turkish music, American music, old-fashioned waltzes...), neo-classical writing, and film music, for which they share a common passion. The artists will place great importance on the treatment of themes (interpretation, nuances...), while allowing for spaces of freedom and improvisation, throughout a repertoire constructed 'tailor-made', where the forms, set apart from the classic 'theme and variations' often found in jazz, will adapt more intimately to the narrative. - - 'La Désinvolte', a modern tribute to traditional French waltzes. - - 'Épilogue', scripted like film music, offers a nod to the music of American Westerns.
