Mahler : Symphonie Numéro 8

Description

Recorded live in concert at the Mahler Festival 2025, Mahler’s Symphony No. 8 brings together Klaus Mäkelä and the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra with five choirs and eight international soloists. A monumental performance, praised by critics for its clarity, intensity, and the mastery of these exceptional forces, which the conductor describes as “one of the great moments of his life.” Already available digitally, this recording is now being released for the first time in an international physical edition.
