This recording marks the first solo project of cellist Gulrim Choï, a member of the Diderot Ensemble since 2014. It is the pre-classical music of northern Germany that she decides to highlight, through four chamber concertos for cello - some of which are unpublished. This program aims to reveal the different attractions of an emerging aesthetic, sometimes looking back, sometimes asserting itself radically. This program seeks to reintegrate these works into the repertoire of the curious cellist and thus unveil other resonances of the German pre-classical landscape.
