Cantates BWV 169 et 82

Description

After a recording dedicated to the Alto Cantatas BWV 35 and 170, released in 2009 by Outhere and following the success of this album, which is still a reference today, Damien Guillon continues his research and interpretation work by dedicating a second album to the Solo Alto Cantata BWV 169 and the famous BWV 82 Ich Habe Genug, better known in its version for bass (1727) but also performed by an alto as early as 1735. In addition to this program, organist Maude Gratton has paired these Cantatas with the Prelude and Fugue BWV 543, as well as the chorales Allein Gott in der Höh sei Ehr, BWV 662, BWV 663, and BWV 664.
