Discovered by Lou Donaldson, Grant Green quickly became "THE" guitarist for Blue Note, accompanying the greatest (Ike Quebec, Lou Donaldson, Jimmy Smith, Hank Mobley...). He embodied Be Bop and became the six-string virtuoso of Jazz Funk.
Recorded in 1971, 'Visions' brought Grant Green closer to a more popular universe. The use of the electric piano added a touch of modernity and showed the musician's openness to innovative sounds.
