Description

Originating from Finland, GRAIN OF PAIN offers a powerful and intense vision of doom/death metal. At the heart of the band is Timo Solonen, who composes, sings, and plays guitar. On bass and clean vocals is Lars Eikind (Before The Dawn), a recipient of the prestigious Spellemannsprisen (Grammy) in Norway. Juho Räihä (guitars, additional screams) and Juuso Raatikainen (drums), both awarded a Finnish Grammy with Swallow the Sun in 2025, participate in the band as session musicians. Drawing from a wide range of influences, GRAIN OF PAIN weaves dark atmospheres and powerful melodies to create music that resonates long after the last note. After signing with the German metal label Noble Demon in April 2024 for their debut album ("The Moon Lights The Way"), GRAIN OF PAIN takes a new step with "Behind Us All," their second studio album, set for release in March 2026. "Behind Us All" was produced, recorded, mixed, and mastered by Juho Räihä at SoundSpiral Audio studio. The cover art is by Gogo Melone.
