Some people thrived during the lockdown. Take Les Goguettes, for example. After years of touring across France, their show had to be put on hold in March 2020. Without missing a beat, they continued their work of observing current events with humor and parodies on their YouTube channel by filming "confilm" videos with whatever resources they had. The rest is history: "T’as voulu voir le salon," their parody of Brel's "Vesoul," went viral in just a few weeks, traveling around the world and taking the four friends onto television, radio, and into the press. These parodies can be found on this album, reworked and re-recorded, sometimes with other musicians, but always in the "at home" spirit, just like in the blessed days of lockdown!
