A Humdrum Star Double Vinyl Gatefold

Description

The music of GoGo Penguin arrives just in time in this jazz revival where artists like Kendrick Lamar, David Bowie, Flying Lotus, and Kamasi Washington fuse genres with their own visions of rap, rock, electronica, and soul... GoGo are part of this revival.
The richness of the atmospheres that the three musicians from Manchester manage to create is due as much to their love of electronica as to their classical training and years spent playing in indie bands. Their unique way of mixing acoustic and electronic instruments has earned them enthusiastic reception worldwide.
While the band is far from abandoning their usual playground on 'A Humdrum Star', this new album reveals much more unexpected influences. Mixing the intimate and the immeasurable. This well describes the latest album by GoGo Penguin.
