Since its unfathomable origins in the Swedish village of Korpilombo, Goat has traveled the stages and festivals of the world over the last decade and created its incendiary music by following its own convictions.
"Oh Death" is characterized by its psychedelic rhythms with accents of free jazz and sacred music that have always defined the band. "Oh Death" is a first album in 6 years for the band that released "Requiem" in 2016. Blithely disregarding any easy classification, the album sits both in the headspace of 70s funk and in the zestful post-punk of ZE records. Folk incantations and free jazz skronk find common ground here, carried by an incessant movement.
