After two acclaimed albums (2020's 'Now Here's An Echo From Your Future' and 2022's 'The Rest Is Distraction'), along with numerous EPs and singles, the London trio Girls In Synthesis returns with their third album 'Sublimation'. Tracks like "Deceit," "We Are Here," and "Picking Things Out Of The Air" are the most melodic from the band to date, reducing some of the chaotic noise elements of their signature sound and highlighting passionate vocals and beautiful crescendos, as well as keyboard melodies. The drums and bass are particularly prominent on the tracks "I Judge Myself" and "Corrupting Memories," but they are balanced by intense, gothic-influenced keyboard lines that showcase influences from the late 1970s and early 1980s.
