What Chaos Is Imaginary

Description

The return of Girlpool with an album that has lo-fi indie pop accents, as sweet as it is robust! Almost two years after the release of Powerplant, the Los Angeles indie rock duo Girlpool, with their powerful harmonies and imaginative compositions, takes new creative steps with this new album, What Chaos Is Imaginary. Combining elements of shoegaze, folk, and 80s post-punk with their own melodic sounds, these two great songwriters offer a modern classic full of brilliant melodies and sonic surprises. The music of Cleo Tucker and Harmony Tividad, the two members of Girlpool, occupies a transitional space. The duo's constant evolution makes it perfectly impossible to articulate where their project stands, straddling several contemporary musical canons. This is one of the reasons why Girlpool's music is so captivating.
