Time to Burn is the second studio album by the American hard rock band Giant. Singer and guitarist Dann Huff had established himself as a session guitarist on successful albums and singles in the 1980s before forming a band with his brother David Huff on drums, Mike Brignardello on bass, and Alan Pasqua on keyboards. For Time To Burn, the band was joined in the writing process on two songs by Jim Vallance and on four by Van Stephenson, the latter also being featured on backing vocals in the studio. Huff had previously worked on guitar for Stephenson's solo albums. This album was produced by Terry Thomas, who had already produced albums for rock bands such as Bad Company and Foreigner. The most successful single from the album is Chained, which reached number 16 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Tracks chart.
