Steady

Description

Steady is Easy Star’s first release by Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad, the revolutionary reggae band from Rochester, NY. Most of the songs were recorded in 2013 with Craig Welsch of 10 Ft. Ganja Plant. Two other tracks were recorded after these sessions and added to the sequence: the standout track Steady was co-produced by Danny Kalb (The Green, Ben Harper), while the live track “Mr. Cop” was recorded with Matt Saccuccimorano (John Brown’s Body). Steady debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Reggae chart. “Steady is like a painter putting his most inspired vision onto a canvas with impeccable execution.” - Top Shelf Reggae “Steady confirms that Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad is one of the most innovative and ambitious reggae bands in the world.” - Live For Live Music “Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad have apparently taken their place in the legacy of northeastern U.S. reggae bands that bring authentic Roots music to the masses.”
