Hindsight Is 50/50 Vinyle Noir et Blanc

The two-color vinyl (black/white) is now available! Although "Hindsight Is 50/50" is Ghost Woman's third album in 18 months, composer and multi-instrumentalist Evan Uschenko believes it is the first album that "finally captures the true nature of the band." Recorded primarily live over three days at the Kerwax analog studios in Brittany by Christophe Chavanon (The Good Damn), there is a confidence and assurance that seem to build on the self-titled debut album from 2022 and its successor "Anne, If." Overall, the album is darker and denser than its predecessors, but the sound and atmosphere of this album are closer to what the project was meant to be when it launched in 2016, finally realizing Ghost Woman's creative vision. The vocals are drenched in reverb, and the meaning is often suggested rather than explicit. The guitars are heavier, and the vocals are less easily discernible, but Uschenko believes that "the vocals are not important. We prefer not to be understood."
