The guitars are fuzzy and drenched in reverb, and the brass is arranged in the style of a studio big band. Beautiful compositions and a garage rock attitude. The influences range from Eddie Palmieri and Esquivel to The Lively Ones, Dusty Springfield, and War. The tracks are connected by actual transmissions recorded during the Apollo lunar missions of 1969. The concept of the album is the story of a woman left on Earth by her astronaut partner, who wonders where he is and if he will return alive from the cosmos.
