It's Christmas Time

Description

German Brass presents a new recording featuring Christmas songs from around the world. It shows us how brass instruments harmoniously convey the joy and atmosphere of the season: the festive trumpets sparkle, the sweet sound of the horns infuses warmth into the music, and the percussion adds playful elements. A joyful and thoughtful listening experience. This album includes popular international melodies such as "Joy to the World," "O Come All Ye Faithful," American favorites like "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" and "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer," as well as the rare beautiful Ukrainian songs "Nebo yasni zirky vkryly" and "Shchedryk." Other highlights are the arrangements of three chorales from Bach's "Christmas Oratorio," which wonderfully capture the festive spirit of Christmas.
