This record invites you to the heart of one of the great Venetian attractions of the baroque era, the famous ospedali. Among the residents of the Pietà lived a certain "Pellegrina," to whom Vivaldi dedicated many of his concertos for oboe. Together with her Berlin colleagues, Xenia Löffler brings to life these concerti soli, concerti ripieni, and other sinfonie of the red-haired priest - but also of his followers, among whom is a contemporary composer just as fervent: Uri Rom.
