Description

Ted Joyner and Grant Widmer, friends since university, make up the indie rock duo GENERATIONALS. For this new album, they brought in RICHARD SWIFT, producer and sound engineer for bands like THE SHINS, FOXYGEN, LAETITIA SADIER of STEREOLAB, as well as an active member of THE SHINS. He also confirmed that he was now the touring bassist for THE BLACK KEYS. The sound the duo achieve on "ALIX" is rich and multifaceted: the influences range from analog to the YouTube generation, Jante Jackson / Prince, the old and the new, the raw and the polished.
