Considered a true masterpiece, No Other is the fourth album by Gene Clark, former member of the legendary group The Byrds. Released in 1974, No Other is a genuine success that brilliantly blends the sophisticated style of the 70s with melancholic country rock ballads. It features the cream of the musicians of the time: Chris Hillman (ex Byrds), Craig Doerge, Joe Lala (ex Manassas), Butch Trucks (Allman Brothers), and Jesse Ed Davis. Gene Clark faced criticism at the time, but over the years, No Other has established itself as one of the most important albums of the era.
