After the success of the album 'Intuition', cellist Gautier Capuçon invites us today to discover 'Emotions', his new album made up of pieces that are dear to him. From Debussy's Clair de Lune to Satie's Gymnopédie No. 1, from Schubert's Ave Maria to Dvorak's Song to the Moon, via Piaf's Hymne à l'Amour, Piazzolla's Oblivion or Scott Joplin's The Entertainer, so many contrasting emotions that go straight to the heart under the cellist's warm bow. These short pieces recall the daily appointment Gautier Capuçon set himself in this suspended time of lockdown, like so many bubbles of oxygen for the musician and notes of hope for his audience. Gautier Capuçon is brilliantly accompanied by his longtime accomplice, pianist-arranger Jérôme Ducros, and the Orchestre de chambre de Paris conducted by Adrien Perruchon.
