Absolute capital, cosmopolitan, poetic and ingenuous, swirling and cultured, driven by multiple inspirations, Paris, timeless, Paris, city of the 2024 Summer Olympic Games. Paris, inviting Rameau and adopting Offenbach, welcoming Cosma and paying tribute to Debussy, Fauré or Ravel. Paris, saluting the premiere of Carmen and the first steps of Franz Lehar, humming Francis Lai and Michel Legrand, walking hand in hand with Edith Piaf and Yves Montand. And Jean-Jacques Goldman, whom I have held in particular admiration since childhood thanks to Aude, my older sister, does us the honor of an unreleased song, Pense à nous. This album is the record of that journey, my Paris and yours, crossing all styles and all eras. An endless reverie where each work welcomes another.
