This debut album from GARGOYL skillfully oscillates between emotionally charged passages and gothic-tinged progressive hard rock.
Davidson (Revocation) and Roberts (Ayahuasca) designed GARGOYL in such a way that it's impossible to pigeonhole.
This 11-track album is a blend of sounds that merge into a captivating and engaging whole. Their music covers a wide spectrum, but new forays into GARGOYL's sound continually reveal intriguing and fascinating new elements.
That is the whole point and beauty of this project.
