On April 28, Fuzati (Klub des Loosers) and Le Motel (formerly a duo with Roméo Elvis) will unveil Baltimore, an album created between 2020 and 2022, during a time when freedom of movement has never been so restricted. This record paradoxically has the theme of travel in all its forms. Because there are the trips we have taken, those we cannot take, or those we no longer want to take, those we love to relive in memories, and the inner journeys as well.
The album cover features an airplane staircase. Standing alone in the middle of a runway, it is unclear whether it has just been used for boarding or if it is waiting for a plane that will never come. Baltimore is also a bit more than a record. It has been designed to be listened to in one go, under very specific conditions. Those wanting to fully experience this will be able to go to Brussels, at the Alice Gallery art gallery, starting April 25.
