Les Anges Nomades
Description
After several albums under his own name, Xavier Plumas reactivates the band with which he had, for the first time, escaped from Tue-Loup, already alongside drummer Cyril Bilbeaud (Sloy, Zone Libre, Versari...). This time, they are joined by Vendôme saxophonist Pierre Lambla and singer Doctrovée Bansimba, who is responsible for the visuals of this album and also co-writes the striking second single Lombo, the adventurous Arrosoirs, as well as D’Écume Maleka, whose warm torpor is infused with fever. An album of songs (sometimes in English), but deeply rooted in often free jazz, which knows where its roots are. Fans of Plumas's delightfully venomous pen will find their bearings in the first single La Vie sauvage, the gentle opening of the album (Les Grandes Écorces), and will also savor the sumptuous and luminous cover of La neige est blanche (Manset). A kind of travel album swept by a true wind of freedom. A unique and atypical journey, this Fulbert project brings together four musicians who oscillate in an enchanting chiaroscuro, on winding paths where lyrics and music question the meaning of existence. Out of format, free, and of powerful sensitivity.Buy Les Anges Nomades at the best price
