To celebrate the 85th birthday of the famous Munich composer Wilfried Hiller, master of universal sound art, the CD "VERNISSAGE - Works for violin, piano, North Indian singing bowls, wine glasses and tap shoes" will be released from March 2026. This atypical instrumentation creates a synthesis between tradition and experimentation that transports the listener to new sonic dimensions.Several world premiere recordings are also offered, some inspired by the expressive sculptures of artist Antje Tesche-Mentzen.Hiller, known for his intellectual connections and references to the visual arts, here combines music and visual inspiration, as in "Vernissage" or "Agnes-Umspielungen". The compositions invite a true sonic exhibition, rich in allusions and of great emotional depth.Performed by violinist Franziska Strohmayr and pianist Laura Pitz, who make the nuanced timbres shine, these works also feature solo pieces of exceptional virtuosity and technique, blending harmonic worlds and percussion.
