Trois Sonates de 1817

Description

Franz Schubert (1797-1828) : Sonata in B flat major D.557, Sonata in E flat major D.568 Op.122, Sonata in A minor D.537 Op.164.
The music of Franz Schubert has accompanied me since my childhood. One of the first 33 RPM vinyl records I listened to was a recording of the Overture to Rosamunde, each note of which is still familiar to me.
My piano teachers in Iceland, Hermína S. Kristjánsson and Árni Kristjánsson, who both studied piano in Berlin, then introduced me to Schubert's piano music.
When I continued my studies at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris, I was surprised to find that Schubert was not part of the students' repertoire. Despite this, I worked on his last Sonata in B flat major D.960, and my very first recital featured a significant place for his music with the Sonata in A major D.664 and the three Klavierstücke D.946.
