Little is known about Four-Um, the group that released the cover album Just Us in 1972, other than their association with Buffalo, New York and their own short-lived label Libra 7 Records. However, Just Us has remained on the shelves of record collectors thanks to the creativity of its jazz and soul interpretations of classic tracks, and its strong popularity. Prepare to be surprised by the form of these reimagined classics. Aretha Franklin's "Day Dreaming," with its lush vocal arrangements, resonates through reverb chambers and sounds like a psychedelic pop hit. Simon & Garfunkel's "Scarborough Fair" stretches over seven minutes with warm organ solos. Other highlights include covers of "More Today Than Yesterday" by The Spiral Staircase and "What The World Needs Now" by Burt Bacharach.
