The word "foscor" means "darkness" in the band's native language, Catalan. The Barcelona-based band FOSCOR often uses this dialect in their lyrics as a link and reference to their cultural reality. The band was built on these foundations, while drawing inspiration from the morbid and decadent aspect that emerges from a rapid evolution of society and the artistic landscape at the end of the 19th century. With the release of 'Els Sepulcres Blancs', the year 2019 promises to be as tragic as their music describes it!
