Forty years later, this memorable performance by the original band was restored from the film reels of the concert and remixed and remastered in an exceptional collector’s edition. The audio edition of this ultimate live performance by Foreigner is now available on double vinyl. LIVE AT THE RAINBOW ’78 will also be released on CD on July 12. This concert, performed by Foreigner’s original lineup including Mick Jones (lead guitar, keyboards, backing vocals), Lou Gramm (lead vocals, percussion), Ian McDonald (guitars, keyboards, saxophone, flute, backing vocals), Al Greenwood (keyboards, synthesizer), Ed Gagliardi (bass, backing vocals) and Dennis Elliott (drums, backing vocals) captures the essence of a band that would soon become one of the most important acts of all time.
