Firehouse is an American band formed in 1989 in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA.
From their first album, the band rose to fame with hits charted in the US: Don't Treat Me Bad, All She Wrote, and the essential ballad Love Of A Lifetime.
In 1992, the Glam-Metal band won the American Music Awards in the face of Nirvana and Alice In Chains. After a well-crafted second album, the band continued to perform worldwide, hitting the stages of Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Singapore.
They were also just as popular in South America and Europe.
FireHouse continues to release new albums until the end of the 1990s and the early 2000s, and most succeed in the charts in Japan. The band also continues to tour internationally starting in 2007, after participating twice in the Rock Never Stops Tour with other bands from the 1980s. Since their debut, the number of FireHouse albums sold is estimated at over seven million albums worldwide.
Their latest album was released in 2011.
Initially composed of singer C.J. Snare, guitarist Bill Leverty, drummer Michael Foster, and bassist Perry Richardson, the band later maintained its original lineup, except for the departure of Perry Richardson in 2000. He was replaced three times before the recruitment of the current bassist Allen McKenzie, who joined FireHouse in 2004.
