When Filomena Moretti gave this recording to Rodrigo, she did not know that he would listen to it on the day of his ninety-seventh birthday. Later, the composer wrote: "It was the most beautiful gift I could receive." Filomena Moretti met a serene Rodrigo, enriched by a nearly century-old life, and when she left, she was completely imbued with this thought from the master: "Sometimes, my chalice may have been small, I know I drank it entirely." In the memory of this young girl, a confirmed guitarist, will remain the importance of these words spoken by the author of the most famous concerto of the 20th century.
