Fortress, a traditional Californian heavy metal band formed in 2016, returns with its second album Death Is Your Master. Led by Fili Bibiano (guitar, bass, synth), with Joey Mancaruso on drums and Juan Aguila on vocals, the album blends power and virtuosity. Recorded mainly at Black Light Studio and produced by Bibiano, it retains the famous neo-classical solos that are the band's signature. Former singer Chris Nunez still contributes on the track "Blackest Night," while the new frontman brings a fresh breath.
