Musa Italiana
Description
Decca Classics presents the new album by Riccardo Chailly and the La Scala Philharmonic Orchestra. Titled Musa Italiana, it celebrates the influence of the "Italian style" on three Austro-German composers: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Franz Schubert, and Felix Mendelssohn. The highly anticipated recording of Mendelssohn's "Italian" Symphony, in its revised version from 1834, is paired with two Italian-style overtures by Schubert, inspired by Rossini, and three opera overtures by Mozart created in Milan (Mitridate, Ascanio in Alba, Lucio Silla).Buy Musa Italiana at the best price
