FEUERSCHWANZ, leader of modern folk metal, is set to release their twelfth studio album, Knightclub, on July 25, 2025, via Napalm Records. Over the years, the band has solidified its place at the forefront of modern folk metal, with recent albums Memento Mori (2021) and Fegefeuer (2023) both reaching the top spot on the official German charts. Their previous tours were almost entirely sold out, they performed at the top slots of the biggest festivals, and their songs and videos have gathered millions of streams. A highlight occurred at the end of 2024 when they celebrated their 20th anniversary at the largest Metfest ever held, in front of more than 7,000 enthusiastic fans. With Knightclub, FEUERSCHWANZ continues the pivotal path it has charted with its most recent albums. The band, which has undergone an impressive transformation in recent years, is releasing its very first studio album with an English title and various lyrics in German and English. Knightclub embodies catchy hits, party-ready vibes, anthemic tracks, and hard metal riffs. True to form, the band infuses its characteristic humor into high-energy songs. The title track, "Knightclub," is an anthem that has already energized millions during its appearance at the preliminary round of the Eurovision Song Contest, and it will surely turn every metal event into a big party. On the album version, the band is supported vocally by Dag-Alexis Kopplin of SDP. Songs like "Valhalla" and "Avalon," on the other hand, are epic anthems that showcase the band's more serious side. "Valhalla" also features legendary appearances from Doro Pesch and Miracle of Sound. "The Tale of Sam the Brave" transports listeners to Middle-earth, while "Name der Rose" celebrates another literary classic. The previously released "Lords Of Fyre" is a precursor to the upcoming joint tour of the bands, and their cover of "Gangnam Style" adds yet another must-have party hit to the mix. Knightclub was produced by Simon Michael (Subway To Sally) and mastered by Jacob Hansen (Arch Enemy, Volbeat, Evergrey). The cover art was created by Peter Sallai (Powerwolf, Sabaton, Saxon, Hammerfall). With Knightclub, FEUERSCHWANZ consolidates its status as the trendiest band in Germany, proving that it has truly reached the top with a mix of great anthems, catchy party hits, and metallic sounds, all wrapped in a pinch of FEUERSCHWANZ's characteristic humor.
