Geister By Fatih Akin - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack

Description

Radyo Bombero is the record label founded by Fatih Akin, acclaimed filmmaker, author, DJ, and record collector. Born from his passion for vinyl and film music, the label will initially focus on the soundtracks of his films: unreleased works will be available on vinyl for the first time, while out-of-print titles will be carefully reissued. Its first release is the soundtrack to Akin’s new film, Geister, due out in November 2026. Composed by Malakoff Kowalski, the soundtrack to Fatih Akin’s Geister is the first release from Radyo Bombero. Born in the United States, raised in Hamburg and now living in Berlin, Kowalski is a composer, pianist and multi-instrumentalist whose work moves between film music, contemporary classical composition, theatre and pop. For Geister, this highly distinctive musical language meets Fatih Akin’s vision of a deliberately anachronistic and romantic score: a tribute to Ennio Morricone’s great love themes that plays a decisive role in the film’s tragic love story and atmosphere.
