The legendary band is reissuing their first album remastered and remixed, with nine bonus tracks. We Care A Lot, the first album by FAITH NO MORE, released in 1985, has not been available for sale for 20 years... August 19 marks the return of this monumental album. "There are two reasons why we decided to release it again today: first of all, it has been 20 years since this album has been available. Secondly, I was cleaning my basement, and I came across the original recording... we all thought that resurrecting it would be a great opportunity to reintroduce this album to the world. And we are doing a real job here, we are releasing it exactly the same way we released it the first time, deciding everything ourselves, and carefully studying all the details," explains bassist Bill Gould. We Care A Lot was released in November 85 on Mordam Records. Both critics and fans speak of this album as an avant-garde work with timeless tracks that could very well be from today. And when the media talks about the band, it is no less laudatory. Pitchfork described them in 2015 as an unpredictable and hard-to-classify band that radically transformed the codes of popular music, while Rolling Stone refers to We Care A Lot as a modern punk album. The 10 original tracks of the album are remastered by MAOR APPELBAUM, and the new edition will also include nine bonus tracks, including demo versions of Greed, Mark Browen, Arabian Disco, and Intro, as well as a live version of The Jungle and New Beginning, new mixes of We Care A Lot, Pills For Breakfast, and As The Worm Turns by MATT WALLACE.
