A musical and poetic journey into the fascinating world of trees. Nourished by the creation of several shows, years of research, encounters, and sharing with thousands of children, Agnès and Joseph Doherty present the fruit of their passion for trees. Composed of songs from the shows Au pied de l'Arbre, Au coeur de l'arbre, and les Fées de l'arbre, the album is divided into several categories: biology (Arbre, Pomme...), tales (Sureau, Aulne), true stories (Séquoia)… to explore the various teachings of trees. Both educational and poetic, it explores our past through mythologies and looks to the future by addressing the effect of forests on the climate and the properties of certain species. Each song offers a unique musical universe, supported by the multiple instruments played by Joseph Doherty. The very broad musical palette and rich instrumentation serve the lyrics, reflecting the diversity of the plant world!
