Being human being

Description

Imagining that such an unprecedented all-star lineup could focus its energy on creating a shared work might have seemed utopian. And yet. “Being Human Being” is undoubtedly the boldest project of the moment. Abolishing any idea of artistic boundaries, Erik Truffaz on electrified trumpet, Murcof (Nortec Collective) and his electro loops, and Maxence Sibille’s drums offer a visionary echo to the paintings and plates of the famous illustrator Enki Bilal. Fallen humanity or a reborn world, each tableau is answered by a unique and shifting sensory imagination, a poetry of the moment that intelligently redefines the notion of live art.
