Blues people - Front Cover
Eric Bibb

Blues people

Description

This new Eric Bibb album is both a tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King’s most famous speech and a reminder of the history of the “original people” of the blues, those African Americans who created this music now considered a treasure of the world’s heritage. Blues People is a deliberately stripped-down album, filled with the soul of the blues. Many friends, however, came together to lend their personal contribution; among others, this recording features The Blind Boys Of Alabama, Taj Mahal, J.J. Milteau, Popa Chubby, Ruthie Foster, Harrison Kennedy, Leyla McCalla and Guy Davis.
