ENTERPRISE EARTH returned in 2021 with 'The Chosen', a masterpiece of monstrous brutality and an enveloping atmosphere. It is the heaviest and most diverse work of the band, characterized by changing dynamics and moods, and a desperate aggression that permeates every track. This album represents the inevitable culmination of nearly six years spent exploring, deconstructing, and refining a musical sub-genre for which the members of ENTERPRISE EARTH share a true passion. The band was formed in 2014, when its original lineup came together in Spokane, Washington. Each new album surpassing the previous one, the band has gradually expanded its underground audience. They participated in the Summer Slaughter Tour alongside legendary old-school death metal pioneers such as Cannibal Corpse, Nile, and Suffocation. Among their other touring partners since the band's inception are Whitechapel, Dying Fetus, Thy Art Is Murder, Chelsea Grin, Oceano, and Carnifex. Dan Watson is engaged in a solitary quest, facing his inner demons, isolation, doubt, and alienation with fierce determination, ready to do anything to survive. It is a fight for survival, carried with intense passion by a powerful and inimitable voice. (An entire deathcore subreddit is dedicated to his incredible vocal abilities.) 'The Chosen' was recorded, produced, mixed, and mastered by Gabe Mangold (now the sole guitarist of the band), except for the drums. Brandon Zackey shaped his relentless, stunning, and highly versatile drumming in collaboration with producer Jason Suecof (August Burns Red, Demon Hunter, Death Angel). Bassist Rob Saireh completes the lineup of ENTERPRISE EARTH, bringing equally impressive power, technique, and groove.
