Description
Ensiferum's last studio release, "Thalassic," marked their peak in 2020 before the global pandemic. This eighth album topped the charts in Finland and reached the top 10 in Germany, Switzerland, Canada, and the USA. After global tours and major festivals, the new album "Winter Storm" has been anticipated for four years, the longest break in their history. Largely created during lockdown, the album sees founding guitarist Markus Toivonen compose almost all tracks, with the exception of the anthem "Fatherland" by Sami Hinkka.
