Violinist Enrico Gatti has worked on this project for 40 years. The limited edition project was released in 2022 in a Media-Book version that is now sold out. Praeconium Solitudinis is a 2 CD box set like no other, featuring works for solo violin that follow a philosophical and human path, drawing on the idea of solitude as a necessary condition for both human beings and artists. Enrico Gatti begins this journey with a motto from Commander Marcos, "Caminando- Preguntando" (Questioning while walking), which the artist associates with a concept of life linked to one of the main compositions of this work, the Passacaglia "A Pilgrim's Walk" by Biber. The 2 CDs are now reprinted in a traditional 2 CD format with texts from various writers and philosophers and photos by Silvia Camporesi, serving as virtual exhibitions for this philosophical journey accessible via a QR code. The entire concept album is entirely designed by Enrico Gatti. 2 CDs + a 28-page booklet and a virtual photographic exhibition with a QR code.
