A true legend of film music, Ennio Morricone composed over 400 scores for cinema and television, and more than 100 classical works. This double album, recorded during a concert conducted by the Maestro himself in 2004 with the Münchner Rundfunkorchester, is one of the rare occasions where he performs his own works. It brings together his most iconic soundtracks, such as "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly", "Once Upon a Time in the West" and "Once Upon a Time... the Revolution". Renowned for his western scores, he also left his mark on cinema with his soundtracks for films with a strong social dimension, such as "Cinema Paradiso" and "The Working Class Goes to Heaven". Available for the first time on CD, this recording celebrates one of the greatest composers of all time.
