Dualità
Description
In Dualità, an album composed of arias from nine operas by Handel, Emoke Baráth explores the duality of the feminine soul, a blend of strength and sensitivity, as well as the ability of the female voice to characterize both heroines and heroes. The Hungarian soprano pays tribute, at the same time, to her counterparts from the 18th century, particularly the prima donnas of the opera company that Handel directed in London. Emoke Baráth is accompanied by the ensemble Artaserse, under the direction of Philippe Jaroussky (his first recording as conductor). Emoke Baráth showcases a wide range of expressions, embodying heroines from Alcina, Giulio Cesare, Partenope, Amadigi di Gaula, and Lotario, as well as heroes from Arianna in Creta, Radamisto, Faramondo, and Deidamia.Buy Dualità at the best price
