Schubert Dip Limited Edition Green & Orange Clear Vinyl

Description

Limited edition expanded double vinyl, pressed on transparent green and orange vinyl. Includes the original album as well as a selection of eight remixes of the album’s four hit singles. Includes new inner sleeves with lyrics and an unpublished liner note featuring quotes from Ian Dench and James Atkin. EMF formed in late 1989 in Cinderford, in the Forest of Dean, with a lineup consisting of singer James Atkin, guitarist Ian Dench, keyboardist Derry Brownson, bassist Zac Foley and drummer Mark Decloedt. Their name, EMF, stood for “Epsom Mad Funkers,” a name borrowed from the description given to New Order fans by music journalist David Quantick in *NME* magazine. They made a sensational entrance onto the global scene thanks to their contagious blend of dance, rock and pop. Their debut album, *Schubert Dip* — which contained the hit singles “I Believe,” “Lies” and “Children,” as well as the worldwide smash “Unbelievable,” a song that would mark an entire generation and top the charts around the world — captured that raw energy and genre-defying sound. This expanded deluxe edition of their debut album celebrates its 35th anniversary in style on two vinyl records: the first disc contains the original album in full, while the second offers a selection of eight remixes of the four lead singles, personally chosen by the band members.
