With A Day Of Unrest, the duo extends this universe by imagining the soundtrack of a Cold War thriller where tailing, paranoia, and double identities unfold throughout the tracks. Analog synthesizers, Mediterranean-tinged guitars, smooth rhythms, and evocative orchestrations create an instrumental ensemble that evokes both John Barry and Piero Umiliani, while maintaining a distinctly contemporary approach to production.
